What data Cover Route collects, how we use it, and how to object.

This is Cover Route (coverroute.co.uk). We publish structured breakdown-cover reference information.

Who we are

Cover Route is operated by Fold Digital Ltd. Our operating address is 8 Long Meadow, Torriano Avenue, London, NW5 2SU. For any privacy question, email privacy@coverroute.co.uk or write to us at the address above.

What data we collect

  • Analytics. If you accept our analytics cookie, we use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate page-level metrics — which pages get read, from which country, and how you got here. Google's servers assign you a random identifier; we don't try to identify you by name or contact details.
  • Anonymised traffic logs. Cloudflare (our host) keeps short-lived request logs including IP address for abuse prevention. We don't join these to analytics data or export them anywhere.
  • Your consent choice. Whether you accepted or declined cookies is stored in a first-party cookie called cr_consent so we don't ask you again for 13 months.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email, phone, address, or vehicle details. There's no account to sign up for. We don't run heatmaps, session recordings, or fingerprinting scripts.

Who we share data with

  • Google (Analytics + Ads). If you accept analytics cookies, aggregate usage data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd under Google's own privacy policy. If you also accept advertising cookies, the same data can help Google Ads measure which of our ad campaigns brought you here.
  • Cloudflare. Hosts the site and processes short traffic logs.

We don't sell any data to third parties.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to the ICO. Since we don't hold identifiable personal data, the easiest way to exercise these rights is to clear your cookies (which erases the random Google Analytics identifier) or email privacy@coverroute.co.uk.

How to change your consent

Click "Cookie preferences" in the bottom-left of any page to re-open the consent banner and change your choice.

Changes

If we materially change this notice, we'll re-open the consent banner for everyone so you get a chance to review it.
