Every cookie Cover Route sets, why it's set, and how long it lasts.

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Cover Route uses cookies for two things: remembering your consent choice, and (with your consent) measuring aggregate site usage.

Consent Mode v2

Even when analytics or advertising cookies are declined, Google's tag still sends a small "consent state" ping. This ping contains no identifiers and no browsing data — it exists so Google can statistically model aggregate conversion counts for advertisers without setting cookies for individual users. If you'd like to block that too, use a browser-level tracker blocker (uBlock Origin or the equivalent).

Third-party cookies

Cover Route pages don't embed any third-party widgets (no YouTube, no Twitter, no Facebook pixels, no chat widgets) so no third-party site can set cookies via us. Google Analytics operates from a Google-owned domain; only Google itself can read those cookies.

Changing your choice

Click "Cookie preferences" in the bottom-left of any page to re-open the consent banner. Choosing "Reject non-essential" or clearing your browser cookies will remove the analytics cookies — the cr_consent cookie will be recreated on your next choice.
